Athens is hosting hundreds of thousands of Muslims for decades. During the two major Muslim holidays, The Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha the Muslims of the city were praying in open space as the Muslim tradition orders. Unfortunately the tragic war in Syria and Yemen, and all the attacks against Muslim people forced the Muslim Community to pray indoors, Celebrating is restricted only to basics due to this tragedy.
