The Unity Conference in Athens was a bright moment in the Muslim life in Athens. Scholars, Theologians, Professors and Religious Leaders from Iran, Egypt and Greece were exchanging thoughts and views.

Athens is hosting hundreds of thousands of Muslims for decades. During the two major Muslim holidays, The Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha the Muslims of the city were praying in open space as the Muslim tradition orders.

the European Commission hosted a high level conference on tackling intolerance and discrimination against Muslims in the EU

We participated in a 5 day seminar against Islamophobia and Antisemitism. Muslims, Jews and Christians of young age worked for days to create projects to promote unity and friendship.

A group of Muslim University Students from Berlin/Germany called “Ibn Sina Scholarship Program” visited Athens and had a session with Q&A about Islam in Greece. This was the first visit and they will come again to launch another educational program soon.
